Guide to Population Council activities at the 
XV International AIDS Conference

The Council's efforts at the AIDS Conference are part of an extensive portfolio of research and programmatic activities aimed at helping to prevent the spread and mitigate the impact of HIV/AIDS. The Council's work in this area is multifaceted and includes biomedical, demographic, social science, and operations research.

During the AIDS Conference the Population Council:

• Disseminated information and publications at the Population Council booth, located at #70 in the IMPACT Exhibition Center.  (floor plan)
             

• Offered media-friendly services including:

  • Arranging interviews with Council researchers.

  • Providing electronic and traditional format press kits.

  • Assisting in article and lead development.
