Senior Program Officer Profile K.G. Santhya is a senior program officer based in New Delhi, where she manages and conducts research on adolescent girls’ reproductive and sexual health. She also is involved in a multi-state survey of young people, and capacity-strengthening activities including a small grants research program and a health and population innovation fellowship program. Santhya also currently serves on the International Union for the Scientific Study of Population Panel on Sexual Behavior and HIV/AIDS. She holds a Ph.D. in population studies from Flinders University in Adelaide, Australia, and M.A. degrees in economics from the University of Kerala and in population studies from the International Institute for Population Sciences in Mumbai, India. She was the recipient of a postdoctoral fellowship from the Population Council in New Delhi.
