Partnerships that achieve lasting change
To achieve our ambitious mission, the Population Council works in partnership with governments, other organizations, and individuals. Our funding partners provide the generous support that allows us to identify problems, investigate solutions, and ensure that successful strategies are implemented. A list of donors appears in our annual report on pages 41–43 (PDF).
Alliances with community-based and nongovernmental organizations help us to recognize and appropriately respond to local needs. Collaborative biomedical research with scientists at other institutions advances the development of reproductive health and HIV prevention products. Partnerships with sister organizations combine complementary strengths to improve lives most effectively. A list of partners appears in our annual report on pages 36–37 (PDF).
